Colleen K. Micele, Family Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; I have been living in the Ripon-Green Lake area since 1998. I am certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as a Diabetes educator by the National Certification for Diabetes Educators, I have a strong clinical interest in both Diabetes Mellitus and Women's health, although I provide care to all patients from infancy to the elder years. I place a strong emphasis on preventative health and education.

I received the Nightengale award for excellence in nursing practice in 2002, and was recognized by Representative Luther Olsen and Senator Robert Welch as the Wisconsin Outstanding nurse of year by the Wisconsin League for Nursing and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield United of Wisconsin in 2002. Two years later, in 2004, I received the Rural Health Ambassador Award by the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative.

Prior to my years providing health care, I spent 10 years in the United States Army as an Air Defense Missile Officer, serving in both the United States and overseas.

I am raising two daughters and plan to begin service in medical missions abroad.
